Making a Difference

Five, four … actually, we’re past the countdown phase. The crew at Envelope are thrilled to have launched on our journey to officially become Carbon Reduced. 🌱

With the help of the awesome peeps at Toitū Envirocare we will be crunching our carbon footprint and working hard to reduce it in the coming months and years.

Now, let's be real. Becoming carbon reduced won't be easy. It'll take some serious elbow grease, a lot of coffee, and more than a few moments of deep reflection.

But here at Envelope, we've never been ones to shy away from a challenge - and we're confident in doing our part to protect the planet.

And confidently leading our Envelope Green Team is Andrew Thompson, who's passion for sustainability will help guide our crew alongside Toitū in this journey.

Toitū carries out a carbon footprinting exercise which allows us to see where our impact currently is and identify ways to reduce things back.

“You’ve got to know where you are, before you can look at what to do in the short, medium and long term,” says Andrew, one of the founders of Envelope.

“This is important to the team, and all of us are totally on board. It’s there in our values – we make a difference. That’s huge for us.”

Envelope is passionate about the world we live and work in. So whether it be through getting our first company EV (named Elon – what else?!), having a totally committed Green Team, or some of our crew spending their paid volunteer day at organisations such as Supporters of Tiritiri Matangi or Conservation Volunteers New Zealand, we are all about this.

We're excited to take you along for the ride. We'll be sharing our triumphs, our setbacks, and maybe even a few embarrassing moments along the way. But through it all, we'll be pushing ourselves to make a difference.
