PAPER, SCISSORS … ROCK STARS

The first-year anniversary gift is paper. For Erin Cameron, 365 days at the helm of the Envelope Surveying team has flown faster than a perfectly fashioned paper airplane.

Envelope’s Director of Surveying Erin jumped at the chance to co-found the new arm of the rapidly expanding Team Envelope in October 2020. She's loved getting 'back on the tools' and using technology to up efficiency and galvanise a new team.

Couple this one-year celebration with Envelope Structural turning two recently, and you have two young but gifted toddlers in the family.

Andrew Thompson is the Director of Envelope Structural, and has more than 25 years’ experience in engineering. He says Envelope is built on respect, and that its people want to get the best out of themselves and others in their team.

And the man keeping a steady beat for the team of 'rock stars' since he started Envelope Civil in 2015, working from a former Wellington egg factory, is Alan Blyde.

Some of the first clients are still clients, and Alan values loyalty, creativity and hard mahi in Team Envelope.

In six years, it has grown just as a family does, bringing in new blood from across the country and around the globe. By year end, Team Envelope will need to seat 33 at the dinner table.
