If you asked us to wrap up our Envelope Company Workshop in one sentence, we’d tell you - ’Find The Pony ‘. 🎠

Or as Nikau Fiso of Hutt City Council told us, to ‘Find The Pony’ is to find strength in the face of adversity. And that’s exactly what our crew did on Friday. They dug deep, took a look in the mirror (with the guidance of our incredible speakers), and nourished their mental well-being in an ever-changing world.

Our whole crew from Auckland, Mount Maunganui, and Wellington came together to hear from four brilliant speakers.

Robyn Shearer shared her wisdom on the importance of teamwork when dealing with significant events and emphasized the need for a support system (Envelope Senior Engineer and pie-making extraordinaire Miles Tremlett fills this role as husband to Robyn 😉).

Key speaker Lance Burdett of WARN International Limited (who has credentials to match James Bond) taught us some super neuroscience and strategies to navigate our changing world with resiliency.

And as the day drew to a close, we had the pleasure of hearing from Charlie Hopkins and Nikau Fiso from Hutt City Council. Charlie, who's been through it all, shared his journey and career lessons from consultant positions to leading the Land Development Team at HCC. 📝
