THE BRAINS

The brains behind what became known as the Great Egg Heist of 1924, Egor hoped to get his hands on the 30 pounds kept in the office safe at an Egmont Street chicken factory.

Unfortunately the safe resisted the dynamite he and Egbert set, and they got away with just 15 shillings ($1.50 in today’s money).

He is always planning his next job, convinced it will be the big one. His offsider Egbert will do all the heavy lifting, while he enjoys the glory.

Outside of heist work, he enjoys cooking (Eggs Bene is a specialty, and he has been known to make a mean version of eggnog around Christmas time), and has a real flair for home decorating (unsurprisingly everything in his home is tones of duck egg blue).

He names legendary artist Stephen Templer as his greatest influence and says he wouldn’t be the man he is today without him.
