Living with peace and with purpose every single day.

Whether from learnings from his parents, or reading New York Times best-selling author Jay Shetty, Jenson Prasad endeavours to live with peace and purpose at the forefront of his mind daily.

Fiji-born Jenson joined Envelope in 2023 in a senior leadership role in the Auckland office. His family moved to New Zealand when he was four, and from an early age he was fascinated with science and technology, and how it could benefit and influence people’s daily lives.

“I always wanted to do something where I could help people or communities, we live in. I had this drive that any problem can be solved.”

Jenson says his thirst for knowledge and genuine desire to make a difference meant he was drawn to a career in engineering.

And since joining Envelope, he has brought his key experience in leadership, operational excellence, and business strategy to the table. Coming from a corporate environment Jenson says the refreshing thing about Envelope is the close-knit, open structure and cheeky banter!

Outside of work, Jenson loves getting into nature, walking or on a trail run, or getting the blood pumping on his mountain bike.

And when it’s time to cool down, he enjoys planning where next to travel overseas over some wine and cheese. His all-time favourite international city is the Big Apple, New York, but for the title for country Spain wins out for culture and cuisine.

And if a bit more work/life balance is required, you will find Jenson at the beach, doing some home DIY, or at the racetrack “when allowed”.

Peace, purpose and problem-solving expert, Jenson Prasad.
