In a galaxy far, far away a Maltipoo puppy, destined for great things, was born into a litter with three other siblings.

He became known as Obi-Wong (Obi for short) when he came to live with his new Star Wars-loving family in 2020, including Auckland Envelope engineer Justin Wong.

The Maltese x Poodle has a strong personality, with many recognisable child traits including whining, sulking, and getting clingy. He likes to be the centre of attention, and is not impressed when guests visit, and he slips down the rankings.

Obi’s favourite things outside work include going for walks, car rides, and “just generally being a handful”, Justin says.

He is surprisingly good at relaxing at the Auckland offices, so long as he has had some stimulation and a snack first. Just like bringing your child to work. 

And when Justin asks for work advice?  Obi may just deign to raise his head and tell him “Do or do not, there is no try”.
