There were tears. There were laughs. But no diva moments or punch ups.

No, it’s not Academy Awards season. It was Envelope’s first and fabulous Values Awards.

We value our team, and we value our values. And we decided on them as one big Envelope Crew, and we like to live them in our work, not leave them on a shelf.

While we knew just how amazing Our Crew is, to hear them talk about each other in their nominations just blew us away. It truly was humbling. So, while we were going to make one award per value, we were feeling the love so much, it was an easy decision to make two awards per value.

The awards for ‘We Know Our Stuff’ went to Emma and Saten.

Emma was nominated by her peers for her big screen role in our ‘Survey Promo Vid’ as well as ‘Curve Ball Queen’. Saten was nominated for his Mahi in such works as ‘Incredibly Competent’ and the much admired ‘Complexities of Clients & Councils’.

The awards for ‘We’re a Tight Team’ went to Justin and Jasmine.

Jasmine was lauded for her works ‘Beacon of Positivity’ and ‘Enthusiastic Energy’. Justin was nominated as leading man by a number of peers in ‘Long Hours & Last-Minute Changes’, and on ’Strangely Quiet’ while completing the epic ‘Auckland Industrial’.

For ‘We Make a Difference', the awards went to Demetri, nominated for ‘The Go-To Man’, and ‘Quick Quick: The Deadline Waits for No Man’, and Jack for ‘Noisy, Dusty & Demanding – a Song of Tricky Sites’.

And finally, for ‘We’re About Quality’ the award winners were Louis and Alistair.

Alistair was nominated for his painstaking work on ‘Absolute Legend: A 3D Feature’ and his work across the country in ‘Mentoring Master’. Louis was celebrated by his directors and peers for the short feature ‘Help for an Unending Project’ and the hard one ‘Respect from the Tough Men’.

Award winners received a prezzy card and a Good Registry gift card to keep sharing the love with one of their registered charities.

The celebrations kicked on for a while with beer, bubbles and nibbles. There was no scandal … that we heard of anyway!

Our next Values Awards is March 2023. Congratulations to all the winners, and all those nominated.

We are so freakin’ proud to be working alongside you.
